Ivy Wells is the Director of Economic and Community Development with the Town of Berlin with a passion for bringing people together, especially in downtown spaces.

She began her work in Sykesville, Maryland, where she launched the town’s Main Street program, added a full calendar of events, including the Sykesville Farmers Market. Building on that success, Ivy brought her expertise to Berlin, Maryland, where she She leads the Berlin Main Street program and the Berlin Arts and Entertainment District and founded The Berlin Farmers Market and has continued to grow the town’s downtown programming, supporting local businesses, artisans, and community engagement.

Beyond markets and events, Ivy is dedicated to placemaking, historic preservation, and creating welcoming spaces that celebrate the unique character of small towns.

 She is known for her hands-on approach, creative vision, and commitment and creating connections that make communities thrive.
