Taylor Kampia (she/her) is an award-winning video strategist, producer, and advocate who helps nonprofits and mission-driven organizations communicate with clarity, heart, and impact. As founder and CEO of Make A Scene Media, she leads a production company that creates strategic, emotionally resonant content designed to drive funding, engagement, and change.Raised by gay dads in the heart of the LGBTQ+ rights movement, Taylor grew up marching in pride rallies, speaking out against injustice, and learning the power of visibility firsthand. Today, she serves as Chair of Communications on the Board of Mary’s House for Older Adults, which builds affirming housing and provides services for LGBTQ+SGL elders in the DMV region, addressing both isolation and housing insecurity.Taylor believes that when people are seen and understood, real change becomes possible — and she’s committed to helping organizations share their work in ways that are ethical, strategic, and deeply human.
