The Vision is Yours 2026: Placemaking Placekeeping Conference

Elliott Kenney is a 2025 Master of Landscape Architecture graduate from the University of Maryland. While at UMD, Elliott focused her studies on inclusivity and accessibility in public space design. Her graduate thesis research developed a framework for disability-centered design and explored its application to public parks with a participatory neuroinclusive design methodology. Elliott is a member of the Disabled Designer Network (DDNxLA) and has consulted with landscape architecture studios as an inclusive design expert. Prior to pursuing her MLA, Elliott built ten years of experience in community technical assistance and event planning with the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness and the National Alliance to End Homelessness. She has a BA in Japanese social studies from Bard College in New York. In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing, embroidery, and designing complicated dioramas.
